Service of Surrender
TONIGHT, August 29, 2026, 6:30 PM
This is time of year full of transitions: little ones starting pre-K or Kindergarten for the first time, kids leveling up to a new grade or a new school, young adults heading into college, families feeling the emptiness of their nest. Along with the milestones that children's growth represents, many life events like loss of health, job loss, or loss of loved ones offer us ample opportunities to deepen our trust in Jesus. But how do we do that? How do we 'just trust'?
And: How do we support each other during this season?
TONIGHT Saturday, Aug 29, we will hold a Service of Surrender, a dedicated time for us to surrender our hearts, circumstances, and futures to the Lord. There will be music, art, and drama. We will pray for each other: for students and families, teachers and administrators, for the community.
Please pray for this service: for the leaders, for those inviting others, and for the Lord to work in those He will call to attend. May He break down our defenses and use us all for His glory and our good!
