eNews Summer Publication Schedule

For the Summer, we plan to publish eNews every other Friday. Please send any news for each set of two weeks to office@gracebfc.org by the Wednesday before publication.

Publishing Dates:

August 14, 28

Sunday Notes

  • Nursery and children's classes meeting as usual for the next several weeks. (some classes may be combined, but all should meet)
  • Kingdom Conversations will NOT meet in August, will likely return in September.
  • There will be a Service of Surrender on Saturday August 29 in place of 5th Sunday Worship. (see below for details)

Providence Road Construction

  • Aqua is working on Providence Road in front of the church weekdays from 9am - 3pm for the next several months.
  • If you are attending weekday events and can use the back entrance, that would be helpful.
  • If you need to come via Prov. Road, you can tell a flagger at the construction entrance that you need access to Grace Church / St. Johns and they should let you through if the road is not actively blocked by the construction (construction this past week was at the north portion of the road, and so access was often granted from the south)
  • Sundays should not be affected.

Service of Surrender

August 29, 2026, 6:30 PM

We are entering late summer, a time of year full of transitions: little ones starting pre-K or Kindergarten for the first time, kids leveling up to a new grade or a new school, young adults heading into college, families feeling the emptiness of their nest. Along with the milestones that children's growth represents, many life events like loss of health, job loss, or loss of loved ones offer us ample opportunities to deepen our trust in Jesus. But how do we do that? How do we 'just trust'?
And: How do we support each other during this season?
On Saturday, Aug 29, we will hold a Service of Surrender, a dedicated time for us to surrender our hearts, circumstances, and futures to the Lord. There will be music, art, and drama. We will pray for each other: for students and families, teachers and administrators, for the community.
Please pray for this service: for the leaders, for those inviting others, and for the Lord to work in those He will call to attend. May He break down our defenses and use us all for His glory and our good!
Contact:Dani Sauvé or Chris Newton

Reaching the Heart Conference

Jesus has charged every member of His church with speaking God’s truth in love

to each other. Care and discipleship aren’t just specialties for pastors. They’re for

the whole church. “Regular” Christians have a call and a mission to help one another

through sin and suffering.

By God’s grace, you’ll walk away from this conference with fresh passion for the

supremacy of God’s Word, fresh love and compassion for people, and fresh insight

into how to bring the two together in a local church context.

WHEN: August 14-15

WHERE: New Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2960 W. Philadelphia Ave., Oley, PA

COST: $40 / individual | $50 / couple - Early-bird pricing: By June 30, $20 off | By July 18, $10 off (Includes lunch and access to book tables)
